Affiliate Disclosure

Plain-English honesty about how this site makes money — and the line we won't cross.

Veg Tan Clubis free to read because it’s funded by affiliate links. That means: when you click a “View on Amazon” or “Check price” button and buy something, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or go to the retailer directly.

The Amazon Associates program

Veg Tan Club is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Our Amazon Associates tag is vegtanclub-20; you’ll see it on the links you’re redirected to.

How our links work

Every buy button on the site points to an internal /go link, which then redirects you to the retailer with our affiliate tag attached. We use that redirect for two honest reasons: it keeps our links in one place so we can fix or swap a broken one without rewriting a page, and it lets us point a product at the best retailer for you if a better program becomes available later. Every earning link is marked rel="sponsored nofollow", per Google’s guidelines, and opens in a new tab.

Right now, Amazon is the only retailer we earn from. Where we mention a brand’s own store or another retailer that we are notin a program with, that link earns us nothing — we include it only because it’s useful to you.

Our promise: commission never decides a pick

This is the part that matters. The reasoning behind every recommendation is identical whether a link earns us anything or not.If a cheaper product is the better buy for you, it’s our pick — even when a pricier option would pay us more. We’ll also tell you plainly when to skip a product entirely. How we keep that honest is spelled out in our methodology and editorial policy.

Prices and availability

Prices come from a live retailer feed and are stamped with the date they were pulled. They change constantly, and we don’t store them — if a live price isn’t available, the button simply says “Check price on Amazon” rather than showing a number that might be wrong. Always confirm the current price and details on the retailer’s own page before you buy.
